• When BBraun Aesculap introduced surgical sutures by 2002 in India,
Ethicon Sutures of J&J are market leaders for almost 40 years in India.
Every where BBraun faced tough competition to break the Ethicon market, I
am the first person to promote BBraun sutures in Tamil Nadu (a Southern
state of India).
• Identified key surgeons in each city in my territory and instead of giving
sample sutures during my meeting them him/her , I requested them to allow
me to join them in their next surgery with my sample sutures ( I use to take
note of what kind of surgery and what type of sutures the may need in
surgery).
• This helped me to understand various surgical procedures and able to get
instant feedback on my sutures, thus obtaining surgeons’ confidence on
BBraun sutures, I utilised these key surgeons to conduct workshops in each
city and made them to invite their colleagues and share BBraun sutures
experiences. These workshops helped me to take 60% of Ethicon market
share in TamilNadu state within 6 months.
8. Hexacath
• Hexacath is a French company into cardiac stents. When it comes to stents,
large multinationals like Cordis, Boston Scientific are major players, and its
highly competitive market.
• Developed rapport with Dr Marc Silverstre , globally reputed cardiologist
,successfully managed to invite him to India and conducted several
workshops and converted customers to Hexacath.

• IMEL is a Indian Orthopaedic Implants company
• Again J&J Depuy is big competitor
• Invited the legend orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Buechel from USA to conduct
workshops in major cities along with Indian legend Dr.Devadoss , this
changed the market scenario and made IMEL as competitor for Depuy (
grabbed 50% of depuy market)

• Cook Medical is pioneer in Interventional Radiology disposables, HQ in
USA.
• I joined Cook Medical as National Manager , here I got the national level
market exposure from state level.
• Conducted several workshops across India to introduce Cook range
peripheral products and made the respective dealers to organise these
workshops to get them a strong relationship with customers.
• Managed to bring SIR president Dr John Kaufman to India and conducted
various workshops across India.
22. Perfint Healthcare
• Perfint Healthcare is Chennai based medical company into Robotic
assistance for Image guided interventions.
• Managed to take Perfint to new markets and new customers.
• With my contacts , perfint successfully managed to enter government
business.
