Survey/Focus group questions
September 30, 2014
Survey Questions:
1. Have you ever heard of The Challenge Program, Inc.?
2. Did The Challenge Program, Inc. come to your high school?
3. Would you follow TCP on social media? If so, which one?
4. Would you use the hash tag #TCPIcanwin if you were interested in winning an award?
5. Would you be more inclined to use the hash tag if you were able to have your phone out
during the assembly?
Results:
All responses are from students at UPJ
• Total of 20 people surveyed:
• 6/20 people have heard of TCP
• 6/20 people said they came to their high school
• 9/20 people said they would follow TCP on social media
• 12/20 people said they would use the hash tag #TCPIcanwin
• 15/20 people said they would be more willing to use the hash tag if they were able
to during the orientation assembly
Objectives:
1. In the survey results, most people said they would use the hash-tag if able to during the
orientation
• This is difficult because most schools prohibit the use of cell phones during
school hours
• The hash tag used would be #TCPIcanwin
• If possible, this should be pursued to create more awareness and popularity
2. Survey shows not many people have heard of TCP
a. Use social media followers to retweet to spread the word
b. Have educators spread the word to other schools
c. Create billboards, flyers, and promotions
