Global Action Plan is an environmental behaviour change charity and, since 1993, has helped businesses, schools and communities reduce their impact on the environment. Specialising in Education for Sustainable Development the organisation achieves environmental and financial savings by empowering people to take action on energy, waste, water and travel. Since its creation Global Action Plan has run practical environmental behaviour change programmes engaging over 730,000 people in the UK. In this candid look back, Trewin considers the things that have worked well as well as those that didn’t and pulls out the key learnings that could help inform the development of new behaviour change programmes in the future.
