2. Problem Statement (Phase III: 2013_regular) :-
The point A of line AB is in HP and 15 mm in
front of VP. Its front view and top view makes
510 and 480 with HP and VP respectively. Draw
the projections of line AB if its end point B is 51
mm above HP. Find its true length , true
inclinations and locate its traces.
Given Data:-
1. Point A is in HP
2. Point A 15 mm in front of VP
3. b’= 51 mm
4. α = 510
5. β = 480

3. Draw XY line and locate projection of points a and a’Step 1

4. Locate the projections of point B
Draw a line parallel to XY line = 51 mm above HP
Step 2

5. Draw a line a’b’ at an angle of 510Step 3

6. from point b’ extend projector line vertically downward
From point a draw a line ab at an angle of 480 which intersect the projector line
Step 4

7. Take a distance a’b’ and draw an arc on XY line which gets b2 ‘ extend
projector b2 ‘ lines in downward direction
From point b , draw parallel line to XY
Draw line a b2 which gets TL and ɸ
Step 5

8. Step 6
Take a distance ab2 as TL , put on a’ and
locate on locus of point b’ which gets θ

Draw a traces :
HT extend a’b’on XY line from that draw projector which cuts ab
VT extend abon XY line from that draw projector which cuts a’b’
