2. Problem Statement (Phase III: 2013) :-
The point A of 65 mm long AB in HP and 15 mm
in front of VP. The line is inclined to HP and VP
at 400 and 350 respectively. Draw the
projections of line AB and locate its traces
Given Data:-
1.True Length, TL= 65 mm long
2.Point A is in HP
3.Point A 15 mm in front of VP
4.θ = 400 : line is inclined to HP at 400
5.ɸ = 350 : line is inclined to VP at 350

3. Draw XY line and locate projection of points a and a’Step 1

4. Assuming conditions :Line is Parallel to HP and Line is parallel to VP
Draw line = 65 mm in front view and top view .

Draw a line a’ b1’ of size 65 mm at an angle of 400 in front view
Take the projections from point b1’ to b1 for obtaining the plan length in top view

Draw a line a b2 of size 65 mm at an angle of 350 in top view
Take the projections from point b2 to obtained the elevation length in front view

Take a distance ab1 and draw arc in downward directions to obtain
ab = PL : locus of b in top view and finally draw ab
Take a distance ab2 ‘and draw arc in upward direction to obtain
a’b’ = EL : locus of b in front view and finally draw a’b’
