Job Responsibilities:
1. Operational knowledge of sequence of manufacturing process, fabrication
process, welding process.
2. Material issuing, material identification, marking as per drawing, cutting by
plasma, gas cutting, grinding, rolling in bend roll, weld edge preparation.
3. SAW welding, NDT Clearance, machining of weld edge.
4. Long seamand clseamset up, nozzle marking, opening cutting, nozzle set up,
external, internal set up.
5. Coordinate with inspector for stage and final inspection.
6. Allotment welders, fitters, gas cutters, grindermans.
7. Welding of all nozzles and external/internals by SMAW,MIG,TIG,FCAW,GTAW
8. Requisition for inspection and maintenance.
9. Dish end set up and welding.
10. Stress relieving, hydro test, air test.
11. Tub sheet machining, Skelton set up, tie rod set up, tubes insertion, TTJ
Welding, expansions, TUBE bundle insertion.
12. Nitrogen purging, leak test ,helium leak test, shot blasting,painting,despatch

48. To coordinate job with Contractor & Stores in the Workshop to ensure
correct usage of consumables as per the approved procedure as well as
wastage are in control.
49. Experience in operation related to tube bending, plate bending, panel
welding, development and layout pipe & tubes as per drawing and other
technical sheet. Preparing the Repair /Rework procedure in conjunction
with Inspection Engineer for preparing Supplementary QCP/ Inspection
Check list.
50. Handling independently workshop activities like fabrication, welding
assembly etc
