3. Formação: WAS / WERE + VP + ING
WAS – I, HE, SHE e It – ou sujeito no
singular.
WERE – You, We, They – ou sujeito no
plural
Forma negativa: WAS – WASN´T
WERE – WEREN´T
Forma Interrogativa: WAS ....?
WERE ... ?

4. Ex.: The children were crying an hour ago.
