2. SURVEY BACKGROUND
The recent acquisition of Indonesian matchmaking startup Setipe by Lunch Actually in
June 2017 has prompted us to wonder just how responsive is the Indonesian digital
market towards Dating Apps/Websites/Services.
Even today the Indonesian market tend to be regarded as at least slightly more
conservative than progressive, and that makes us wonder if that would negatively
impact market acceptance of Dating/Matchmaking services.
Survey conducted by DailySocial.id in cooperation with JakPat Mobile Survey Platform.
Survey distributed to 1019 respondents sampled from Indonesian smartphone users
population.
