A post graduate in civil engineering with over 25 years’ experience in Handling civil engineering of EPC projects of Oil and Gas
sector, Power plants, fertilizer plant etc. in India and abroad , I have extensive senior management experience in large organizations with

Major Achievements during this period:
Successful timely completion of engineering of many of the projects with very little cost deviation, Recovered the
schedule in case of taking over from external party. Post engineering, providing solutions the site for many
construction related issues. Heading civil team of field engineering on Indian and overseas sites. Saved cost
by Value engineering, mentoring, and solved site issues – both design related and construction related issues.
I have conducted technical trainings for new joinees as well as other colleagues as an additional responsibility.
Conducted Technical Audits and built lessons learnt databank, and spread the technical awareness in the
department.
Centralization of the in-house development of software in Excel, MathCAD by converting the same in DOT NET

Responsibilities: Leading shop drawing team / co-ordination with parent office in USA. I was working for
subsidiary of US based company. Main function of the company was to make fabrication drawings for
various US based projects. I joined the company as a technical head, next to the head of the company. The
software used for the detailing was SDS2. One of my responsibilities was to communicate with Parent office
for day-to-day matters and solve the technical issues.

3. From Nov 1996 to Feb 2002 with Jacobs Engineering.
Responsibilities: Leading Civil engineering team /supporting sister offices / Implementing 3D modeling. My
main function was lead engineer, however in the absence of projects, I was looking after some proposals and
partly off-loaded projects from other cost centers. The lean period was utilized for development of PDMS
capabilities and I was chosen to head civil engineering team. Generic models were developed during this
period after getting trained for the same.

design engineer level to lead engineer. This was the period when the reputed companies shifted from

Pecem, State Of Ceara. (Brazil) Mentor - Schedule recovery: Three projects were being executed simultaneously; there was delay attributable to inputs and delay in handover. The delay was recovered by extra efforts, sharing the resources competence, making use of other project information, etc. in spite of input changes. Mesaieed Industrial City, Qatar Mentor / Field Engineer Established the root cause of excessive deflection of the pipe bridges in the construction stage under self-weight only. The reason (i.e. poor detailing) was substantiated by calculations. Further the same was rectified at site under my guidance with minimum efforts, and time. The Plant Capacities Are: (PE) Plant - 540,000 Tons/Yr. & (PP) Plant 2 Units Of 400,000 Tons/Yr.Each. Stenungsund Dy. Lead Engineer The project was given to Mumbai office to recover huge delay by engineering sub-contractor. More than 30% of manhour and schedule were consumed without any output by subcontractor. The schedule was recovered with most of the team- members being new joinees, with little manhour over-run. LNG FOS (FR) EPC FRANCE GAZ DE FRANCE LSTK contract in joint venture between SOFREGAZ, SN TECHNIGAZ and SAIPEM SA for LNG Re-Gassification FOS CAVAOU France Lead Engineer First overseas regasification project where detailed engineering was in the scope. Worked closely with the sister concern – Sofregaz. Worked on site and led Civil team, developed cryogenic pipe support alternative design to cater for huge thermal forces. LNG TERMINAL PM/CS HAZIRA Shell LSTK project for LNG regassification: PLANT CAPACITY IS 2,000,000 TONS/YEAR. HAZIRA, GUJARAT India Lead Engineer/ Field Engineer The First LNG plant in India. SHELL DEP were used for the first time, so also carrying out cryogenic requirements. Headed Field engineering team at site for nearly one year. During this many site issues were resolved.

Post engineering, providing solutions the site for many construction related issues. Heading civil team of field engineering on Indian and overseas sites. Saved cost by Value engineering, mentoring, and solved site issues – both design related and construction related issues. I have conducted technical trainings for new joinees as well as other colleagues as an additional responsibility. Responsibilities: Leading Civil engineering team /supporting sister offices / Implementing 3D modeling. My main function was lead engineer, however in the absence of projects, I was looking after some proposals and partly off-loaded projects from other cost centers. The lean period was utilized for development of PDMS capabilities and I was chosen to head civil engineering team. Generic models were developed during this period after getting trained for the same.
