2.  Banks which provide basic banking activities like
taking deposits, lending to unorganized entities, micro
and small industries, small and marginal farmers, and
other underserved sections are known as small
finance banks.
 With the aim of creating financial inclusion, it was
created by the Reserve Bank of India.
 The main objective of the small finance bank is to
strengthen the financial inclusion by extending the
basic banking services like deposits and the supply of
credit across the country.

3.  AU Small Finance Bank Limited is an Indian Small finance
bank, based in Jaipur, India.
 It was founded as vehicle finance company AU Financiers Ltd
in 1996 and converted to a small finance bank on 19 April
2017.
 Headquartered in Jaipur, Rajasthan, the retail-focused Non-
Banking Finance Company for two decades provided speedy
and customized financial solutions to rural and urban
population.
 After bagging the Small Finance Bank (SFB) license in 2015,
Au Financiers commenced its journey as an SFB on 19th April
2017.

addition to brick-and-mortar banks-to bring modern-day
financial services to the unbanked millions of citizens
and business across rural India.
 Since 2017, AUSFB has built out its lending and account
management systems on Oracle Flex cube Cloud
Infrastructure and Oracle Database, which encompasses
servers, processors, storage, memory and network.
