RBI under the guidance of
government of India
The SFBs (Small finance bank)
are required to open at least
25% of its branches in a financial
year in unbanked rural areas,
similar to the scheduled
commercial banks.
The Small finance banks are
required to extend 75% of its
ANBC (Adjusted Net Bank
Credit) to priority sector,
whereas the SCBs (Scheduled
Commercial Banks) extend
ANBC to priority sector..
The prime objective of a small
finance bank is to undertake
basic banking activities of
acceptance of deposits and
lending to unserved and
underserved sections of
the population.
3. ABOUT AU SMALL FINANCE BANK
Au Financiers was established in 1996. Headquartered in Jaipur, Rajasthan, the retail-focused Non-
Banking Finance Company for two decades provided speedy and customised financial solutions to rural
and urban population.
After bagging the Small Finance Bank (SFB) license in 2015, Au Financiers commenced its journey as an
SFB on 19th April 2017. In the same year, it got the Scheduled Bank status on 1st November and became
