A commercial clerk is to work in Parcel Office and Ticket Booking Counters and to
check all incoming goods.

5. 2) Ticket Collector/ Ticket Examiner
No. of Post - 46
Grade Pay & Pay Band- Rs. 5200-20200 + GP of Rs. 1900
A Ticket collector is one among the front line staff of Indian Railways, who ensures
that every passenger travelling in the train has an appropriate ticket.

6. 3) Technician-III/Diesel.Mech (DEMU)
No. of Post - 11
Grade Pay & Pay Band- Rs. 5200-20200 + GP of Rs. 1900
If you belong to mechanical field then you can apply for technician-III job. This job is

Junior Engineer (Drawing) works in divisional office drawing section. His work is to
prepare new plans based on rough plans and to edit the existing ones if required.

Carriage & Wagon supervisors are back bone of mech. Dept. They play important
role in train operations. For this job, you should have sound technical knowlege in
your field.

13. 10) Assistant Station Master

The Assistant Station Master (ASM) is in charge of running of trains at his station
where he is posted. In this job, you have to operate the signals and ensure the
tasks are completed as per rules.

14. 11) Goods Guard

Grade Pay & Pay Band- Rs. 5200-20200 + GP of Rs. 1900
Goods Guard will be in charge of a goods train. He has to check the entire
formation for anything that can make sure the safe running of train

15. Educational Qualification
12th or
Matriculation with ITI in the relevant field or
Three years diploma in the relevant field or
A degree from the recognized university or its equivalent
Advised to go through official notification for post wise Educational qualification

16. Age Limit
Age should be between 18-42 years as on 1st January 2017
Upper Age Relaxation : OBC- 3 years
ST/SC - 5 years
