Dear Parents,
Date of publication
Over the past few months, your child in Infant 1 classroom has
enjoyed a greatnumber of diverse activities, intended tosupport their
growth as young persons and welcome them into our community as
valued members.
However, nothing replaces the gentle touch and kind voice of
caregivers when building trustbetween us and the children and
strengthening our bond. Close eye contact helps adults and babies to
understand each other. Babies love to join in and make new sounds, and
always wantto copy adult’s mouth movements when they watch daycare
teachers and parents sing.
In this brochure are some of the bouncing nursery rhymes thathave
been very well received by the children in Infant 1 classroom and have
aided this teacher in forming emotionallysecure bonds with the children,
bringingmuch joy to both sides. (Yes, your child’s favorite is included in
this compilation).
Please enjoy these rhymes with your child outside of the daycare as
well, strengthening your connection and delighting in each other’s
company.
