• 10/2015-current—Southeastern Illinois Counseling Centers. Prevention Specialist. Organizing
a coalition for prevention of alcohol and substance abuse for the youth by going into the
schools, doing surveys with the students, placing posters there and educating them for they
are the target audience for this campaign.
• 05/2015-07/2015—1) SiteStar Corporation, Roanoke, VA. An internet company that buys
properties with investor’s monies and remodels them to sell for a profit (house flipping).
Duties were to meet with contractors and construction workers at home improvement stores
and choose finishes and colors and things related to design to ensure the best return. I was
also employed by: 2) The Southern Twist Restaurant, Bar and Catering, Ferrum, VA. General
Manager (GM) .
• 10/2014-6/2015—Old Town Immediate and Family Care, Winston-Salem, NC. Medical
Assistant. Duties included assisting physician in minor procedures, EKG, pulling patients and
vital signs, office and medical record duties, billing and coding, etc.
• 08/2011-09/2013—WakeForestBaptist Lexington Medical Center, Lexington, NC. Registered
Nurse. Intensive Care Unit. Duties included caring for the most critical patients in the
hospital, intervening with emergency defibrillation and intubating, managing ventilators and
vent-dependent patients. All other aspects of nursing care.
• 11/2009-06/2011—Rowan Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, NC. Registered Nurse.
Coronary Care Unit. Duties included caring for the heart patients that were the most critical
in the hospital. I worked as a “Code Green” nurse responding to calls from the regular nursing
floors which needed further evaluation from specific professionals that were trained to
recognize when a patient’s status was declining. I was also a “Code Blue” team member
responding to code blue calls on different units of the hospital. My job was to run the crash
cart, administer specific rescue meds and defibrillate when indicated.
• 04/2008-07/2009—St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital, Mt. Vernon, IL. Registered Nurse.
Cardio-Vascular Intensive Care Unit (CV-ICU). Duties included caring for open heart surgery
patients pre and post operatively. Also, all aspects of caring for a patient that is in ICU.
