diagnosis of depression.
Assess Mr. Asidi focusing on the
key symptoms of depression to
confirm the diagnosis.
4. SCENARIO 4
Mrs. Wanda is a known hypertensive
client on Propranorol and
Hydrochlorothiazide (HCT) and has
come for check up. During last visit
the blood was 140/90 mmHg and
today it is 150/90 mmHg.
Provide health education to Mrs.
Wanda on drugs and diet
5. SCENARIO 5
Mr Mapulo, 40 years old has been
admitted with severe dehydration
due to diarrhoea and vomiting for
the past two days. Four (4) litres of
Ringers Lactate in 24 hours have
been prescribed.
Commence the intravenous infusion.
6. SCENARIO 6
You have been assigned to take care of
Mr. Balala who has just come from
theater after laparatomy for bowel
obstruction. He is on an intravenous line,
indwelling catheter and a nasogastric tube
for drainage.
Perform the immediate post operative
