I usually love water parks, especially on a dreadfully hot one like the one in this story, but this experience kind of ruined them for me. My family
and I headed to a water park in San Luis Obispo. It was an old fashion water park with concrete hills with the slides built into them. The sun was
beating down like a laser on to anyone who dared step outside, a perfect day for a trip to a water park right? Wrong, at least not for me. One
afternoon of fun and excitement took a turn for the worse not to far into the day. Let me explain.
During the car ride there, my family blabbed on about how my parents went to this water park when they were in college. All my brain was thinking
was how old this place was and exactly how safe it was since it was built such a long time ago. My brother, being a teenager, didn't speak a word, only
occasional blurts of 'You guys are so old' and 'I want to go home and game.' I was sort of excited, I mean, in weather like that day, that's all you
wanted to do or even could do without melting. Once we got to the park, my family grabbed all the bags with towels, sunscreen, snacks, you know, the
waterpark necessities. Stepping out of the car was like entering a human sized oven. My skin sizzled even with the unbelieveable amount of
sunscreen I had on. We hurried to the entrance to get admittance to the park. Truly, I was shocked when I entered. I was expecting like a normal
water park with plastic slides and wave pools to chill in. But NO, this place even looked old, not unsafe, like they may have renovated it once since
my parents came, but the huge concrete hills and all, kind of a give away. Once we claimed our beach chairs, my mom looked around to see what
slide we should go on first. We decided on a small slide, at least compared to some of the other slides, where you slid down on a mat. I was slightly
nervous, me being so light and all, but I trust the slide. After we made the climb up to the top of the hill with our mats, my brother said he wanted to
go first. So, down he went with ease to the bottom pool. Next it was my turn. While trusting the slide, I was still slightly nervous of the whole falling

for us? More than I thought, thats for sure. I wanted to take the time to look into this simple task we do. Being a dancer were athletes and must pay

(CDC) showed us results in water consumption in peoples daily lives. In the study there were 3,397 adults surveyed and about 7% of people reported

The goals and expectations I had for the adult swim lessons were to help adults reach a basic understanding and skill level of water safety. From
the start, I worked to ensure a clear portrayal of by goals since, as Steven Covey and his fellow authors said in "The Power of Goals," "goal setting
is obviously a powerful process" (306). Planning and implementing my project took more time than I initially believed on account of needing to
secure pool space and at a time which would work with both my swim coach's and my schedules. To start off, I put together a working model for how

The documentary, Blue Gold, World Water Wars, was a dramatic depiction of the prognosis of our ability to sustain life on the earth if we don't
take very seriously the natural resource of water. The movie by Sam Bozzo was released in 2008 and is based on the book Blue Gold: The Fight to
Stop the Corporate Theft of the World's Water by Maude Barlow and Tony Clarke. The movie opens with a dramatic display of what happened to
Pablo Valencia who in 1906 walked from Mexico toCalifornia in search of gold. He survived without water for 7 days and documented the experience.
One of the most compelling statements from his experience was the statement, "who ever goes without water for a week, cries blood." That statement
was riveting and came to mind often during the course of viewing the movie. The filmmaker succeeded in galvanizing my attention with that opening
frame. Bozzo highlights how extensively our ecosystem is being impacted by our seemingly lackluster regard for the water we have been given on

How many you would select a glass of water out a fridge filled with soda, fruit juices, or beer?
My guess is probably not very many you actually choose water over the other options.

I used to never drink water, and would always choose another beverage if I had the option.

For example, when you go to a restaurant and order a soda, that is usually at least $2.
You could instead choose water, which is free.
If you would also choose water when you go out to eat and save the $2, you would save a decent amount of money in a year.
Also, a 24 pack of bottled water is much cheaper than even a 12 pack of soda.
Therefore, buying a pack of bottled water would save you money as well.
Another way that you could save money is by investing in a filter of some sort, and drinking water from the facet.
This would definitely decrease your spending on beverages during the year and save you a lot of money.
As you can see, there are many benefits to drinking water.
I hope you know see how crucial water is to your body and why you should consume it on a regular basis.
You can only survive several days without water, so make sure you drink up.
And by drinking water to ensure you stay living well, you will have some extra money to spend on things in your life that you can enjoy.

Water is a natural resource which is very critical to all life on Earth. Natural resources are things that come from nature. Natural resources are either
renewable or non renewable. Some of the Earth's natural resources are; Soil, Air, and Water.
Although the Earth is almost covered in water, it is considered a finite resource which means there is an end to the amount of water that is available

It is ironic however, that although a lot of water is used for domestic purposes, many people do not drink the required amount of water needed to
keep the body at peak functioning level. So, already before the water is completely gone, we are depriving ourselves of this life sustaining substance.
Instead we use substitutes, which we are led to believe (due to the ad campaigns of the Industrial and Commercial users of water) are far better than
water because they contain energy boosters like electrolytes and caffeine.
