Objective:
Obtain a position in an aggressive organization where skills, knowledge and experience in Production Scheduling,
Logistics, Customer relations , Office Management and Technical skills would be useful.
Experience:
Brown Display Fixture: Quality, Inventory Control & Production Time March 2014-Present
Daily quality control checks with each process in production within the wood department using
controlled specifications approved by clients specific to individual needs. Using SOP units are
placed on QC hold and a report is filed, all management involved sign’s the QC report assuring all
teams are aware of the QC problem. Revisions that vary from the original specification the customer
approve revised specifications before production proceeds with the customers product.
All raw materials used for a job (customer order) is applied by the operators of machinery, pulling
materials from inventory adding material cost to the specific order. A shop floor entry report prints
for each employee at the end of each employees day giving history of machinery used, materials and
labor for each order and individual counts. Responsibility includes each day to maintain accurate employee
payroll time and process each week for payroll. Maintain all employee time, order corrections, reversals or
taking materials out or adding materials not applied to orders that have been taken out of inventory on a
daily basis.
End of year 2014 inventory improvements have made wood department profitable with new SOP’s in place.
Brown Display Fixture: Ship Department and Freight Management 2005-2014
Coordinate and schedule all receiving and shipping. Negotiate rates with preferred carriers. Schedule and
plan daily activity for the shipping department according to customer needs. Assuring all product ship
on time according to customer needs and schedules. Daily contact with Brown sales team and inside sales
team planning daily ,weekly and monthly ship schedules according to our customer goals for large rollouts
Lowes and Home Depot using the customer’s routing guides and scheduling work force into production
to meet goals. Customer order entry, issued purchase orders and work orders to Brown production team.
Contact person for salespersons and design team.
Global Textile Marketing Executive Administrative Assistant 2002 to 2005
Maintain all employee records, manage and control company as a team player with all employees.
Coordinate international shipments on a daily basis, contact person for customs and international customers.
Monitor shipments in transit to United States. Assure all purchase orders submitted and filled in a timely
manner according to customer needs. Invoicing and tracking payment from vendors. Planning and scheduling
fabrics to outside vendors. Daily contact with CEO of company, arrange all travel needs for executives.
Contact for all customers and outside vendors. Maintain and issue monthly and quarterly reports to CEO
for end of the month meetings.
Coca Cola Bottling Consolidated Administrative Assistant/Dispatcher 2000-2002
Coordinating travel needs for corporate aircraft. Scheduled and issued daily flight plans to pilot in command.
Daily contact with company executives and their administration to revise flight schedules while assuring all
travel needs met on timely manner. Maintain and issued reports, SIFL reports (tax charges for usage of
aircraft to owners of Coca Cola and Administrative).Processing charge backs to executives for usage of
aircraft. Maintain a weekly aircraft utilization report of all aircraft flight hours, fuel usage, pilot and co-pilot
flight hours. Utilization report presented to corporate executives for monthly and quarterly meetings.
Synthetic Industries (Shaw) Technical Assistant Flooring Systems Group 1990-2000
Provide support to carpet backing customers, documenting customer complaints and taken action to the
complaint. Receive all returned inventory, process claims and credit memos. Compiled data from technical
lab to report weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to company executives. Work as a team member with the
Technical Support Group for Shaw Industries and special project customers. Set trials for potential and
existing products and development of new products and markets. Continually monitored trials and updated
management personnel involved.
Synthetic Industries (Shaw) Technical Assistant
Perform various ASTM standard approved tests on Geo-textiles. Assuring all products met specific standards
before shipment. Coordinate outside testing to independent labs. Issued physical testing data on all products
to Technical Mangers and Manufacturing. Monitor manufacturing process using SQM techniques. Issued
certifications and compliance letters to customers. Downgrade or upgrade product according to physical data
and product specifications. Training all laboratory employees. Revised department procedures and guidelines
in accordance with ASO certification, issuing controlled copies to technical group and manufacturing.
