Brown Display Fixture: Quality, Inventory Control & Production Time March 2014-Present
Daily quality control checks with each process in production within the wood department using
controlled specifications approved by clients specific to individual needs. Using SOP units are
placed on QC hold and a report is filed, all management involved sign’s the QC report assuring all
teams are aware of the QC problem. Revisions that vary from the original specification the customer
approve revised specifications before production proceeds with the customers product.
All raw materials used for a job (customer order) is applied by the operators of machinery, pulling
materials from inventory adding material cost to the specific order. A shop floor entry report prints
for each employee at the end of each employees day giving history of machinery used, materials and
labor for each order and individual counts. Responsibility includes each day to maintain accurate employee
payroll time and process each week for payroll. Maintain all employee time, order corrections, reversals or
taking materials out or adding materials not applied to orders that have been taken out of inventory on a
daily basis.
End of year 2014 inventory improvements have made wood department profitable with new SOP’s in place.
Brown Display Fixture: Ship Department and Freight Management 2005-2014
Coordinate and schedule all receiving and shipping. Negotiate rates with preferred carriers. Schedule and
plan daily activity for the shipping department according to customer needs. Assuring all product ship
on time according to customer needs and schedules. Daily contact with Brown sales team and inside sales
team planning daily ,weekly and monthly ship schedules according to our customer goals for large rollouts
Lowes and Home Depot using the customer’s routing guides and scheduling work force into production

Provide support to carpet backing customers, documenting customer complaints and taken action to the
complaint. Receive all returned inventory, process claims and credit memos. Compiled data from technical
lab to report weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to company executives. Work as a team member with the
Technical Support Group for Shaw Industries and special project customers. Set trials for potential and
existing products and development of new products and markets. Continually monitored trials and updated
