Implemented Renaissance STAR testing, a computer-adaptive assessment designed to give
teachers,administrators and Archdiocesan leadership, accurate,reliable, and valid data on student
learning that leads to data driven decision making about instruction and intervention.
Conducted a pilot program for completion of the Archdiocesan Basic Catechist Certification with
25 new teachers utilizing the STEP Theology Online program from the University of Notre
Dame.
Implemented the student information system, SchoolSpeak Lite, in 49 elementary schools in the
Archdiocese to digitalize student and staff information for ease of data collection at the chancery-
level.
Participated in the process of high school Systems Review at Archbishop Riordan High School
and Junipero Serra High School.
Co-created the Potential Leaders program to identify and support future leaders within the
Archdiocese of San Francisco.
Assistant Superintendent (July 2014 – January 2016)
Supported the 59 elementary school Religion Coordinators through training and regular
communications.
Served as the WCEA Elementary School Commissioner for the Archdiocese of San Francisco by
coordinating the activities for elementary schools applying for the WCEA/WASC
accreditation/certification.
Assisted schools in the implementation and subsequent assessment of the Catholic Identity
Factors as part of the WCEA/WASC Accreditation process.
Streamlined the process of WCEA annual Progress Reporting by creating a rubric of expectations
and giving annual feedback.
Created and taught 8 three-hour Basic Certification classes for Teachers of Religion/Catechists
aligned with the California Bishops Basic Catechist Certification Standards and Guidelines.
Prepared analysis of Information for Growth (IFG) and Assessment of Child/Youth Religious
Education (ACRE) test data to drive instruction and decision making.
Conducted 14 elementary school visits and report on Catholic Identity, academic excellence,
leadership, and pastor-principal relationship.

Created and maintained an environment that fosters strong Catholic identity, academic excellence,
vitality and viability in a school of 285 students and staff of 40.
Through strong marketing and enrollment plans, maintained a steady enrollment between 280 and
286 students throughout all nine years of leadership, including the Great Recession of 2007 –
2009.
Led the school community through a strategic planning process to create a comprehensive five-
year strategic plan that included; Catholic Identity, Marketing and Development, Leadership,
Academic Excellence, and Finance.
Prepared and monitored a school budget of over 1.5 million dollars in collaboration with the Pastor

Managed Tumbleweed’s training program, delivering Windows based secure messaging software
applications to Fortune 1000 companies including: American Express, Gap, Dell, PeopleSoft,
Catholic Healthcare West,MetLife, Verizon, Nasdaq.
Generated an average of $60,000 per quarter in training revenue through a combination of
customer site and Tumbleweed site training classes.
Managed training staff by observation, one-on-one consultation, addressing staffing issues,
conducting train-the-trainer sessions, and written evaluations.
Wrote and developed all training materials used in Tumbleweed’s worldwide training program.

Managed all training classes and document generation/distribution for the New York,

Increased class frequency from 5 classes per month to an average of 20 classes per month through
marketing activities.
