The school recognizes the need to start the
academic year with the end in mind. Prior
preparation and planning ahead may result to
great observable outcomes and prevent possible
setbacks on learning implementation.
Conducting trainings and seminars to reskill and
retool teachers is never new, adaptation will
always play a major role vis-à-vis learning.
Though the pandemic is still at large, school
operation must continue and teachers must find
ways not to fight the challenge but to move
forward with it.
RATIONALE
The training aims to orient the school personnel
about the things needed to be prepared for this
academic year. The participants are expected to:
1. Adapt to school system changes in implementing
learning continuity
2. Evaluate the previous LCP and determine
drawbacks as reference for future implementation
3. Determine one’s role in the administration of
school projects and activities
4. Contribute ideas meaningfully towards the success
of school projects and activities
5. Prepare for the coming school year

INTRODUCTION
Schools shall remain open and education should always be
accessible despite the odds. The Department of Education ensures
that learning must continue amidst the pandemic. As the state is
doing all their best in coping and finding solutions, schools must
also implement ways on how learning should be delivered without
compromising everyone’s safety.
This year’s plan focuses on the adjustments from the previous
learning continuity plan. Suggested activities on key dimensions,
learning modality, and pre-school opening plan will be discussed
comprehensively. The activities that led the school to successes and
the lessons learned from the taken endeavors will also be
highlighted.
As this school year opens, Nabangka National High School ensures
to always cater the needs of its stakeholders.

In order for the school to implement learning continuity, it has to be
safe for the personnel and parents. Management of daily operations
in this time of pandemic possesses a great threat and so it has to be
managed carefully and safely.
a. Establishment of hand washing facility
b. Regular disinfection of the school and its facilities
c. Restriction on mass gathering that would promote close contact such
as flag ceremony, flag retreat, and staff/ office meeting
d. Provision of spare face masks to school entrance
e. Implementation of Alternative Work Arrangement to teachers
f. Strict implementation of parents’ by-batch module distribution and

Last school year, the schedule of retrieval and

weekly basis. Though convenient to teachers,
schedules do not match from the one given by
the central office. Lessons lagged behind a
week. In order to address the problem, the
following recommendations are made:

1. Teachers are highly encouraged to conduct

previous format, but may design new template if
there are needed indicators to be added.
2. For the things that are outside of students’ control,
teachers are advised not to use those to learners’
disadvantage
3. The use of Differentiated Instruction in learning tasks
is encouraged. Teachers are advised to identify
learners’ strengths as early as possible to implement
strategies beneficial to all.
6. MONITORING OF LEARNERS

1. Teachers are encouraged to devise a monitoring tool for output
submission that includes but not limited to the following:
1. Output to be submitted (Written and Performance Tasks)
2. Week number/s or Cycle
3. Subjects
4. Remarks for non-submission
5. Agreed solution/ tasks for completion
6. Signature of the class adviser
2. Subject teachers must create a communication tool or ways to inform
class advisers about their students who fails to comply with their
subject requirements.
7. LEARNING RESOURCES
S
W
F
R
E
1. Modules provided by the Central and Regional
Office will be used as the primary source of
information by the learners. However, teachers may
supplement the content through various activity

3. Learning materials should be properly labeled and
implement color coding strategy for material heading

parents/guardians who have reading disability. Color

SYNTHESIS
The COVID situation makes it more challenging to teachers, parents,
and students. Several problems regarding curriculum
implementation and safety arose. Despite all these, Nabangka
National High School still remains steadfast and continues to serve
the stakeholders better and better every single day. This academic
year, the school will (still) implement modular distance learning
(print). New and improved way of module distribution and retrieval
will be implemented. Teachers are expected to follow the Alternative
Work Arrangement schedule to promote safety and wellbeing of
every personnel. The school will make sure to operate safely
stringently following minimum health guidelines in every aspect.
Furthermore, apart from the curricula, mental health and
psychosocial support to both learners and teachers will also be given
emphasis through guidance and wellness programs.
Taking everything into account, the school aims for a
successful and meaningful academic year. Sulong EduKalidad!
