This study submitted to Babylon University examines ozone depletion. It explores how chemicals like CFCs released into the atmosphere can destroy ozone in the stratosphere. When ozone is depleted, it allows more ultraviolet radiation from the sun to reach the Earth's surface, increasing the risk of skin cancer and cataracts for humans. The student conducted research using multiple sources to understand the chemical process of ozone depletion and its environmental and health impacts.
