Q 1: Is it possible to produce daily reports
on all fleets, number of tickets sold in a day,
number of tickets cancelled, verified,
checked in, and the total amount of money
received per day, per bus or per trip or
route?

Q 2: Who does the repair of the machines
in case of damage?
The recommendation is immediate repair and
replacement with KaCyber, at the client’s cost.
Q 3: How long does KaCyber take to
customize the system, if all required
information has been provided by the bus
operator?
1 Month period, including integration and
testing of customized requirements.
Q 4: Is it possible to add fields like boarding
and drop off points within the main
departure and destination point?
Already incorporated as boarding and drop off
stations.
Q 5: Is KaCyber able to integrate with other
existing financial accounting systems like
Tally, posted at operators office?
Not really, but we allow exporting the
information into Excel which can be imported
into the operator’s independent systems.
Q 6: Is it possible for the financial module
in KaCyber to work as a complete
accounting system being able to handle
even the expenses?

Q 7: Is it possible to create approval levels,
especially when it comes to discounts and
price change which are not planned for?
Already incorporated. Only management and
admin users are authorised to make the
mentioned changes.
Q 8: They need to know how approval levels,
different rights can be given to booking
clerks, cashiers, conductor’s, supervisors,
and managers, managing director, director,
and auditor.

Q 9: What rights are given to bus operators,
KaCyber and passengers?
To be explained during product training.
Q 10: Can the system be installed on the
operator’s servers?
Yes, but at a very high cost. The exact cost
depends on the operator’s fleet size and actual
project requirements.
Q 11: Does the system show fleet
information of other buses (bus companies)?
You can only see the information of your own
company when accessing the system with your
credentials. However, on the passenger app
and website, the customers can see all
subscribed operators.
Q 12: How does KaCyber guarantee security
of the operators' data, if the data only sits
on KaCyber server.
The system is futureproof by design and offers
in-built anti-counterfeit measures and other
security features to mitigate ticket fraud;
a. System runs over SSL, and all APIs can only
be accessed over the encrypted channel for
the live server.
b. Multi-level User Access Control. The system
functionalities are inaccessible to
unauthorized users.
c. Ticket printing controlled by strict user
privilege management and machine runtime
environment scanning & network security
activity monitoring.
d. Machine-level control for ticket printing
and function.
Q 13: How are tickets verified?
By scanning the unique QR code or manual
lookup of ticket ID.
Q 14: Is it possible to capture accidents,
uncertainties or the whole journey and be
able to give an annual status?
Not at the moment, but we are investigating
how best we can offer. This is more of a fleet
management and vehicle tracking system
rather than an E-Ticketing System that we are
offering. We can offer this solution at an extra
cost.
Q 15: Is it possible to integrate KaCyber
with the queuing systems?
This is possible, at a cost as a custom
requirement. We recommend the operators to
adopt mobile / remote bookings to decongest
the booking stations, especially during festivals
to reduce the queues.
Q 16: What happens when the machine gets
lost?
The client pays for replacement. If needed,
KaCyber can provide an audit trail and last user
of the machine, as well as GPS coordinates.
Q 17: Are the machines insured?
No, but the operator can insure the machines
with any insurance company.

Terminal?

150,000 per month.
Q 21: How many receipts are printed from
1 roll of paper?
Approximately 90 tickets.
Q 22: How much is purchasing a single
machine?
UGX 1.45M / unit.
Q 19: What are the requirements from the
bus operator to start a pilot stage?
These will be stipulated in the service
agreement.
Q 23: What information is suitable for the
bus operator in regards to the financial
module, fleet management and the report?

Q 24: Can the operator have different
prices on the same route incorporated in
the system , for example, have three
different prices for the same route
(destination).

and setting the min and max prices.
Q 25: Is it possible to give or allow the
conductor rights to view or access the
prices designated or assigned to a route
but should not have the right to change
the prices?

Q 26: Imagine a customer has booked
online, how do we know that her ticket
is valid? Do we need to print her a ticket
after booking online?
Customers go to the station of the booked
bus, and show the QR code, a clerk will scan
to verify whether the ticket is valid or invalid.
