Family Genogram
A genogram is a tool similar to a family tree that is used to track family history and family relationships. Genograms contain basic information such as:
names, genders, birth/death dates, illnesses, social behaviors, achievements, education, family relationships, social relationships and emotional
relationships (Genogram Guide, 2009). This paper will summarize finding after completing a three generation genogram of this author's family history
beginning with the maternal (Johnson) and paternal (West) grandparents. The general traits that were analyzed was the family relationships, social
disorders and medical issues associated with the family.
Medical Issues
The Johnson and West family health issues is mainly hypertension or high blood pressure (HBP) for both male and female. An individual with a blood
pressure of 140/90 or greater is considered elevated. It is believed by the second generation, which consist of this author's mother and mother's siblings,
that hypertension was inherited from the first generation. The first generation consist of this author's paternal and maternal grandparents. The third
generation consist of this author plus this author's aunts' and uncles' children. The third generation tend to be in better health than the first and second
generation. The third general do not have any high blood pressure problems. Several of the men and women of the second generation are obese.

I derive most of my identity from my Mother's side of the family tree, so this autobiography will be a little lopsided; much like my personality. My
maternal grandmother's family came from Sonder Stenderup of Jutland, Denmark and my maternal grandfather's family is of German descent. The

My Family Has Shaped The Way I View Essay

I Am Proud With My Family
As one of eight children, I am consistently humbled by the experiences in my early environment. My siblings and I shared clothing, toys,

Eighteen years passed by and there was a big riot going on in Athens in protest of Zeus letting Hades capture Persephone. Zeus wanted to teach the
citizens of Athens a lesson by sending them terrible storms. Innocent Oakley didn't know about the threats from Zeus, but her parents did.
Her parents didn't want Oakley to fear of the storm coming their way, so they didn't tell her. Her parents also didn't want to leave Athens
themselves, they knew they didn't have the energy to do so. In result, they had to try and get Oakley to move by herself, without letting her know
of the great dangers ahead. Oakley was in her room, sewing a new blanket for her bed. Her mother called for her to come downstairs. So of course,
she made her way downstairs and saw her parents sitting on the couch, with a depressed look on their face. "What's wrong?" said Oakley. "Honey,
we have some news for you. We are sending you off to Corfu." said her mother. Oakleys face turned red. She seemed like she had smoke coming
out of her ears. "Are you trying to get rid of me?" said Oakley. "What did I ever do to you?" "Nothing, nothing," said her father. "This is for your
own safety darling." "What is going on? I'm completely happy here in Athens! You must tell me why you are shipping me off to another city!" said
