Introduction
Safeguarding commonly relates to protecting children from abuse, harassment and maltreatment,
preventing harm to children’s health or development and assuring children grow up with the provision
of safe and reliable care.
Description
This Safeguarding Children Level 2 will enhance your knowledge of the legislative framework from the
children act of 1989 and 2004. You’ll understand more about safeguarding children boards and their
functions, taking action to enable children to have the excellent outcomes, planning structures, the
consequence of abuse and neglect, and the principles of working with children and their families, etc.
We’ve delicately constructed this course, enable you to develop your understanding of safety measures
including children and older people, understand the basics of safeguarding and learn how to apply
these to support children and families.

connected device. There are no formal deadlines or teaching schedules, meaning you are free to study

quali cation and you can choose to make your achievement formal by obtaining your PDF Certi cate at
a cost of £19 and Hardcopy Certi cate for £34.
