1 Introduction
In this report, related drive test KPI like Rxlev, RxQual, SQI, will be tested and statistics.
This analysis was performed for MTN routine drive test, and the purpose is to optimize the GSM network
coverage performance.
Test instruments
Laptop, UE (Sony Ericsson w995), GPS (Globalsat GPS BU-353)
Test Data Collection Tool
TEMS Investigation 12.1.1
Post Processing Tool
TEMS Investigation 12.1.1, MapInfo Professional
1.1 Data collect Method
The method to collect data for the analysis is from drive test by testing each service.
Voice Calls
Destination Number: another UE in Dual mode should be put in good RF condition.
Call Type: MS1: Long call, MS2: Idle
Setup Time (sec): 20(default)
Call Duration (sec): Continuous call
Call Interval: 10
Exceptional Interval: 10
Count Mode: 999
The test is repeated during the whole test course.

4 Drive Test conclusion
From the above analysis, we can see that the Coverage University of Benin was good in idle mode but not ok
in some area in dedicated mode.
1、The status for some of cells affects the network coverage in dedicated mode performance.
