23. Females are contributing to the marketing sector at a greater extent in Bangladesh.
They are taking a notable position in the growing marketing sectors in the country.
Women are contributing in various field of marketing like advertising, public relations,
and corporate sales. Though Bangladesh is a moderate country but women face various
problems to build their career. In most cases their family, society and the overall
environment remain unfavorable to them. But yet they are proving themselves in this
competitive field. Some Successful women like Rubaba Dowla,Giti Ara Safia
Chowdhury and Rizia khan are the good examples in the field of marketing. Women
have to compete more than man in the market place. More and more women are taking
this challenging profession. At present the government of Bangladesh is trying to build
equal employment opportunity and a better working environment for the women.
Women of our country are also becoming more career oriented beyond their traditional
home maker’s role. The report has shown that there are some positive indicators that
indicate the better future of building career in marketing.
