2. Job Duties/Summary
The Project Information Technology Specialist role provides technology service delivery to the project
Providing information technology and applications support solutions for the project team.
- Responsible for coordinating and managing IT support activities on the project under the direction
of the Project Information Manager
- Works with the project team to assist with all IT support requirements
- Assist with the implementation of the project network environment including hardware
- configuration, software deployment, testing, troubleshooting and reporting
- Assist in the implementation of all project applications and support procedures
- Provide specialized support for the implementation of voice (desk phone & mobile), wireless, security
and printing services and systems
- Provide project Help Desk services and support and assist in the escalation of support and problem
solving activities for the project team
- Assist with project training requirements for applications and systems as required
- Assist with IT hardware & software procurement and asset management
- Involve server installation, backup tape and upgrade. maintain desk phone via systems telnet@hyperterminal
for Alcatel phone systems. network ( such as cabling, troubleshooting and installation especially on hardware )
- Maintain Lotus Domino Email Systems 8.5 ( such as creation, deletion, troubleshooting ) also acting as Lotus
