2. Purpose
The purpose of the practise shots is so that i
get a clear idea of what type of shots are
suitable and appropriate to use in my music
magazine.
Also this is so that i know how much headroom
is needed in my images and how they should
be structured.
3. Reflection Shot
• I tried to re-create the
reflection shot by getting my
model to stand by a door to
get his reflection. This was
unsuccessful as the image
wasn't clear enough and the
image wasnt taken at the right
angle to fit the title of this
shot.
4. Dirty Shot
I tried to re-create the dirty
shot.
This was unsuccessful as the
models are too far from the
camera and also they are not
doing anything other than
looking in different directions
which makes them look more
scared and terrified. This can
be improved if the models
were around a table or a few
bars all in different positions.
5. Multiple focus shot
I tried to re-create the
multiple focus shot.
this image is successful as
each of the models are
standing in their own
positions looking
towards the camera but
this image could be
improved if the models
weren't looking directly
at the camera.
6. Perspective Shot
I tried to recreate the
perspective shot.
This was partly successful
as the models were
standing in height order
which gives it a
perspective look.
This could be improved if
the models were
standing behind each
other or in a wiggly line
instead of a straight
one.
