TRIMTEENS
What is the Trim Teens study?
Trim Teens is a research study that will investigate how your genes,
exercise, and diet influence your health. You will be asked to participate
in a clinical assessment and attend sessions on healthy eating and
physical activity. Compensation for your time will be provided.
Where will the study take place?
LSU Health Sciences Center - New Orleans
Who is eligible?
African-American girls 13 - 19 years of age with and without asthma
Why is the study being conducted?
To develop ideas that will help promote good health
To learn more about asthma,weight and health in African-American girls
