Methodology
• Therapy has adverse effects to
reproduction of genetically male persons
such as teratospermia,
asthenozoospermia, and oligozoospermia
• Fertility options must be given prior to
the start of treatment
• Research has shown that transgender
men have scored significantly higher in
self perceived mental health.
• Wierckx’s study shows that 54% of trans
men desire to have a child while 8% have
previously had the desire.
