2. Global Warming is on the Rise!
● Humans are responsible for
global warming.
● Since the industrial
revolution, more and more
carbon dioxide has been
emitted into the atmosphere
leading to an increase in
global temperature.
● Scientists have warned that if
we do not intervene, the
temperature will continue to
rise and will destabilize food
production.

3. Greenhouse Gas Emissions by Sector
● A key industry
responsible for emitting
greenhouse gases is the
transportation industry.
● Tesla was founded in
2003 with the aim to
produce sustainable and
eco-friendly vehicles
which will lower
emissions, thus
benefiting the
environment.

4. Increasing Production
● Over the past decade, electric vehicle
sales have increased worldwide.
● This has come about mainly due to the
lower price of producing batteries and
cars which run off of electricity.
● Tesla has led the push to appeal to
consumers as well as to innovate new
technology to make a “Green
Tomorrow” happen.

● Tesla has long been the
leader in electric vehicle
production.
● They account for roughly half
of all electric vehicles sold in
2017
● Tesla’s market share is larger
than all other vehicle
manufacturers.

6. Goal
● At its current pace, Tesla will achieve its
goal of having most Americans driving
an electric vehicle by 2030.
● Additional steps can be taken though to
reduce global warming, such as
alternative energy sources, such as the
Tesla solar roof
● Tesla is revitalizing the industry
through their approach
