Nevena Yolova completed a productive four-month internship at Arts University Bournemouth, assisting across departments and excelling in tasks. She took on key roles in catering support, administration for short courses, and assisting the marketing strategy. Her responsibilities included monitoring student wellbeing, interrogating booking systems, communicating with clients, and overseeing various administrative duties. Nevena displayed an ability to work independently and under pressure, completing projects in a timely manner. Her supervisor concluded that she has great potential for success in any chosen industry.

The work of the Short Course Department and Business Development Unit at Arts University
Bournemouth is very broad based. Nevena Yolova has spent a very productive four months
assisting in all areas.
Miss Yolova has displayed and proved to be a very competent, diligent and hardworking
individual who has excelled in her work at Arts University Bournemouth. She has worked as part
of a very small team and can be left to complete tasks and solve problems independently and
proficiently.
Miss Yolova took over a key role in Catering support and Administration to the Short Course
provision. Furthermore, she worked very closely with the Short Course Manager supporting the
marketing strategy and delivery for summer courses.
As a key individual, Nevena’s tasks included:
- Close monitoring/reporting of student wellbeing, building accurate databases and
communicating with internal and external associates, respectively
- Interrogation and control of the University electronic booking and payment systems
- Overseeing the Compliance and effective Customisation of the booking systems
- Communication with clients regarding specific enquiries, general information
- Telephone/e-mail/postal correspondence with internal/external business partners
- Accurate monitoring of marketing activities, reports and short course scheduling
- Market research of target audiences and preparation of presentations of marketing
surveys for the line manager
- General administration duties
- Overseeing resource areas used and welcoming new customers
Miss Yolova also assisted in a variety of activities helping all members of the team. She has
worked closely with several department personnel, taking calls and answering queries and
generally providing a service to all staff within the Short Course Department.
Nevena has shown that she can be very adaptive and thrives under pressure, is able to
effectively multi-task to ensure that all projects are completed in a timely manner. Miss Yolova
has great potential to be a success in whatever industry she chooses to enter.
Nevena has displayed her ability to work under pressure, always hard working, well organised
and represented herself in the best interest of the Arts University’s extremely high standards.
