1. Student of University Could Do it; Education for All is a Nice Concept that Could be True.

Education for All is being introduced by a whole world especially in Indonesia for long
time ago. But, if we see in the reality, there is a gap or distance between a rich person and the
poor one, we can’t reject the fact that people need money to get a better education, the more
higher education is the more expensive it is. In other hand, poor people should be enough with
the lower education. Then it’s time for young people who study in University to be care and do
something really important for the society and education sector.
Author and several people has been developed a community that make many young
people do something to their society, in the first year-in second semester. We made a community
which called PENA that focused on English education because all of the members are from
English Language and Education Department. This community is supposed to be a place where
a young people who will be a teacher that want to develop their educating skill in a real class, not
only care about their society but they could imply their knowledge for the real one. The classes
and the students are from poor school and student who can’t pay for a course to develop their
English skills.
Through this community we share about our experiences in a real class, so we could
decide the type of action do we need to take if we were in that situation. In that classes we learnt
about managing classes, managing lesson and managing ourselves. In this community we also
communicate everything with our guidance-the best lecturer who supported us to do this. From
her we understood how to be a good teacher.
Now days, this community even bigger than before, now they have almost fifty people
only from English Language and Teaching Department, we know focus in strengthen our
community, so it could be stand forever in this university. Next, we’ll invite another education
departments such us Indonesia Language and Teaching Department, Education Mathematic
Department, Nationality and Civil Department and so on to join our program. So this program
could be more effective and more useful not only for the pupil, volunteer but also society itself,
because a good education causes a good life.
This community is going bigger and greater than we thought before, because it causes
really good impact for society and student of university. Not only for education, in the last
month-November, we did a charity event in university and Surabaya for fast respond to our
people in Sumatra and Kalimantan, because of haze. We totally succeed for holding this event
with Dompet Dhuafa-a national society community service.

2. Recently author and one of our best friends, suggest developing our sector. Not only for
the education, but also for preventing drug user because it’s very dangerous for our young
generation. It still has a lot of thing to prep, but author and the other totally believe that it will be
true in this year, because we have already had the name and the vision about it.
Student of University could do everything as long as they have a place to share their idea,
and to get the right support from other especially from University, I believe your program-
UGRAD saw our program as a real contribution from student to society. I do hope that I could
join it, so I could influence the other to do a good thing in my hometown.
