1. Nathaniel Collier
Goal Setting for AP Biology
The things I hope to gain from this class are (think of all the reasons you wanted to take this
course):
Primary Goals
1. To receive a B or higher on every quarter report card and for my final grade.
2. Score at least a five on the AP Exam.
3. To learn every thing I possibly can about the Human Body.
Secondary goals
1. To get at least a B on all of my test and quizzes.
2. To grasp the full meaning and concept on all of my lab reports.
3. To turn in all of my assignments on the due date.
The grade I would like to make on the AP Exam is: 5
The exam is graded on a scale of 1-5. Scores of 3-5 earn you a college credit in laboratory science, with a
score of 5 giving you the most college credit.
I will find the time to perform 1-2 hours of work daily for this course by doing the following:
1. Not watching as much T.V nor surfing the internet for long periods of time.
2. Coming home immediately from football practice.
I will study each day at (time) 7:00pm in (place) my basement at the computer desk.
I can help myself remember my goals and work toward them by:
1. Keeping an organized calendar with all of the due dates for every assignment.
2. Coming to class everyday and not being late.
3. Doing extra studying on the weekends.
My teacher can help me obtain my goals by:
1. Calling on me for answers even if I don’t have my hand up.
2. By clarifying things I don’t understand on different angels and aspects to make sure I understand.
3. Being very accessible by way of email and after class.
