Nathan Hansen is a recent mechanical engineering graduate seeking full-time or contract work in Wisconsin, preferably in the Green Bay to Milwaukee areas. Through internships, he gained experience designing and testing secondary processing equipment, improving processes to reduce steps and equipment, and retrofitting older equipment for safety standards. He also has skills in CAD modeling, communication, and analyzing systems using MATLAB, ANSYS FEA software, and Creo.

OBJECTIVE
I am a recent graduate searching for full-time, or contract work in the mechanical engineering
field, starting immediately. I would prefer to reside within Wisconsin, preferably in the Green
Bay to Milwaukee areas.
SUMMARY
Through my internships I have gained considerable experience finding creative solutions to
equipment design challenges, while also learning 3D modeling techniques in Creo. I worked
independently on projects, developing a piece of equipment from concept to final
implemented solution while balancing cost, time, tolerances, and usability. I was required
to communicate extensively between various internal departments and outside suppliers.
