2. Research
The Independent Film Trust is a UK charity and was
set up to promote independent film-making.
They support individuals to encourage their love
of filmmaking.
They have training for the disadvantaged and
scholarships for people who need help
advancing in the industry and have shown ability
to do so.
The Independent Film Trust have worked with
Raindance and BIFA to find and showcase the
best independent films.
3. Film4
One of the IFT competititors is Film4.They also
show a wide range of independent films such
as; Submarine by Richard Ayoade and more.
The aims of Film4 films are similar to those of
the Independent Film Trust being that film
directors and producers can publish their
movies and become recognised.
