Dr. April Brown discusses her experience as a Senior Clinical Lead at NHS Improvement and a Florence Nightingale Research and Leadership Scholar. The Florence Nightingale Scholarship gave her opportunities for holistic learning and development, including coaching skills training and observing leadership practices at Virginia Mason hospital in the United States. Going forward, she aims to be an effective nurse director who promotes equal opportunity and inclusive care for all patients and diversity among staff.
