The document provides updates on the lives of various peasants in the Kingdom of Celestia. James struggles to make a living off the land with his mother. Gilbert continues farming despite wanting to pursue painting. Ruby prepares for marriage. Archie spends time with Leia. Sigrid awaits the birth of her mother's latest child. Brida is apprenticed at her father's law office. Aelswith hopes to become a servant in a noble household like her mother once was. Beocca must now take over as family heir.
2. The Glenhams began the season with James
meeting his father. James wasn't really sure about
his feelings regarding Marcus most of the time.
3. I mean I suppose he was at least around and seemed to
make his mother happy, but on the other hand it was why
he and his mother had barely anything at all to speak of.
4. If it wasn't for the fish pond he and his
mother would barely put food on the table
most days.
5. James did his best to help out around the
house, and wondered what at all his chances
were to make a living in this place…
7. Over at his cousins house life was going well
for the main Nugen line. Gilbert had taken up
painting or rather attempts at painting…
8. Armando was still around and tried his
best to encourage his grandson to be
more responsible.
9. There always seemed to be other children in the house.
Araceli was quite popular. Alexandria seemed to like
doing nothing more than tease her brothers paintings.
10. Araceli got along much better with her older brother. Araceli
thought her sister ought to be careful with that teasing.
What did she want to do be shipped off to a nunnery? Or
given away to some old man? Yuck!
11. Alexandria had told her she didn’t know where she’d gotten
such nonsense from anyhow..it was their father’s choice or
the matchmaker who would decide who they married.
12. Gilbert poured over the paperwork at the farm
once again. His father had no head for
numbers…why would he always be stuck farming?
13. It was depressing to think about
it all really, but he was well stuck.
14. Over at the Gordon’s Regina continued to work
on tending her garden in her spare time. She
certainly had a lot more of that these days.
15. David had gray hair now and she felt
she couldn’t be too far behind him.
16. Her daughter Ruby had become a young woman and now
she spent her days prepping for her life as a wife and
mother. It wouldn’t be long now before she was matched
off.
17. Her son Archie had been spending a great deal of time
lately with Leia McCarthy. The girl would make an excellent
match for her son assuming he could make arrangements
with her father.
18. Over at the Noble house Sigrid was
anxiously awaiting the arrival of the
newest family member.
19. Her sister Gytha spent the day playing with
the cat. Didn’t she know how important this
was?
20. This would be mamma’s last
baby, the last chance for a boy.
21. They’d had another sister Eadith. No sons
in the main line. Well at least her cousins
Erik and Beocca were around.
22. Mildrith asked for permission to make use of the wishing
well to see if she could find a match. It paired her
appropriately enough with Alon Livingston. Ragnar and
Andrea had no problem with this match.
23. Brida had convinced her father to take her on in an
apprenticeship at his law office. Granted she would only be
an assistant and work the front, but she was just happy to be
able to pursue her love of her father’s work in some way.
24. Wanting to make preparations to be a wife
and mother Mildrith had started helping
out more with her younger siblings.
25. The third daughter of Ragnar Gytha was
always full of energy and was quite
honestly hard to wrangle.
27. It wasn’t long before Gytha became a teenager too, but
she didn’t spend much time at all with her older sisters.
She was still spunky, playful, and free spirited as ever.
28. She still spent some time with her sister Sigrid,
but honestly Gytha spent most of her time on
her own. Middle child syndrome indeed.
29. Thyra was now a child too, her hair was wild and untamed,
but with this many girls in the house getting proper
grooming time in the morning was hard to come by.
30. Thyra felt her older sister Sigrid played much too rough with
this pillows. Sigrid thought if Thyra had been a brother she
wouldn’t have to deal with so many complaints.
31. Thyra adored the Fields! It was her favorite
place to go in the entire Kingdom.
32. She would live here if she could. She
couldn’t imagine learning to fire dance like
her big sister Brida though.
33. Sigrid didn’t much like taking tea, but
Mildrith felt she must be a mother hen now
that she’d been matched with a boy.
34. At least she finally got more interested in playing with
Thyra so she could go off and find her own fun. Too bad
she wasn’t old enough to dance with fire like Brida. *sigh*
35. As soon as they got home and no one was
watching, Sigrid started in on harassing
Thyra again. Why couldn't she be a brother?
36. Over in the Moon Islands, Aeslwith Noble
played with her toy boat. She would love to
visit the sea someday, and sail on a real ship.
37. Her brother Beocca was interested in nothing more than
painting. He was now the heir to the Noble family since
Uncle Ragnar’s last child was a girl. He was older than Erik
by a whole month so the family was now in his hands.
38. She was now a young lady and didn’t really think she
wanted to marry. She wondered if her father would consent
to let her apply to be a servant like her cousin. As far as
she knew Lady Michelle hadn’t taken on any servants yet.
39. Her cousins had all been here for a visit since
Ragnar had come to pass along the news that
Beocca would now be the family heir.
40. Beocca wasn’t sure how to feel being now responsible for
carrying on the family name. He’d always just assumed his
Uncle would produce an heir. Did this mean he would need
to move back to the capital?
41. Uthred was still in love with Lucy and the
two were excited to think of their son now
being Ragnar’s heir.
42. Of course the family had other reasons to be happy, the
Dutchess had come by the Three Lanterns and had given it
her praise. Not as much as she’d praised the Laguna, but
that was to be expected.
43. Uthred just felt a thrill whenever the Dutchess
stopped in for a drink. It was of course always
given to the great lady on the house.
44. He also knew his daughter was interested in becoming a
servant in a great household someday. He’d always wanted
to do something of the sort himself, but his family hadn’t
had any real connections to get him any offers.
45. Lucy had been a maid servant herself before she’d married
Uthred and honestly it had been some of her most
rewarding years of her life. She decided to do everything
she could to train Aelswith.
46. Having Aelswith serving tea at the Three
Lanterns would help her get the attention of
a noble and a chance to obtain a job offer.
47. It wasn’t out of the realm of possibilty it
could be The Dutchess herself since she
frequented the Lanterns so regularly now.
48. Time would tell…time would tell. So concludes the
rotation for the Peasants. Next up the Merchants
and the official start of Generation 3. Whoo!
