2. August 1996 to June 2010 with SITAF SAUDIA COMPANY Ltd.
Working in Out Side Plant, initially as FOC Supervisor and later on as F.O installation manager on the
Worlds largest Telephone Expansion Project, Called Tap – 6 with Sitaf Saudai Co Ltd., Whose was the
major contractor to Lucent Technologies Inc. for STC? Said Project contained all kinds of Fiber Optic
jobs such as Long distance jobs, Junction Net works, Can Ring Net work and Access Rings projects
involving fiber terminations. Work construct and implemented according to work quality specified of ISO
9000.
Now Sitaf Saudia Co. Ltd. is working directly with STC as a main contractor, Kingdom wise. Projects done
by SITAF 550K, 450 k, Key Accounts projects & Junction 2000.
All these projects successfully hand over to STC.
Now a days Responsibilities:
 Monitor fiber optic splicing teams and assigning them tasks.
 Preparation of red line drawings or as built drawings
 Preparing PAT Binder for Preliminary acceptance test.
 Co-ordinates with consultant and client for PAT & commissioning.
 Team leader for incident investigation, report finalization, follow up on recommendations and
quarterly presentation to management.
 Identify personal protective equipments against Network Management and organize awareness
campaigns.
 Support operations team in commissioning and pre-commissioning activities.
 Monitor daily activities, weekly accomplishment report and Site Dairy
 Conduct Pre-Construction Survey for FOC Net work on every project upon receipt of notice to
proceed prior to implementation of the project.
 Preparing Estimate, according to the pre-construction survey results.
 Preparing re-conciliation statements for all materials.
COMPUS PROJECT FOR RAYCHEM
In this project Sitaf is the sub – contractor of Raychem is the prime contractor of STC.
Working in the Out Side Plant, as an F.O.Installation manager on the largest Project, called CAMPUS all
over the Kingdom with Sitaf Saudia Co.Ltd,
In this sitaf is responsible for the installation of Raychem Racks ODF & ODBS all STC compounds
kingdom vise and also responsible for splicing & testing Pat Binders and commissioning of links.
ASEC PROJECT for Royal Saudi Air Force
 Splicing and Testing of 24-Fibre (Dispersion Shifted) Fiber Optical Cable from Arar
to Rafha including Termination at Repeater Site and Radar Sites.
Saudi Armco Project
 Took active part in completion of Armco Riyadh - Qasim Pipeline. Com Project.
 I was responsible supervise for preparation, Installation, testing and splicing of Optical Fiber
and Copper cables.
 On completion of the project, carried out PAT in the presence of Armco and nor
consult.
Royal Saudi Air force Project AT PRINCE SULTAN AIR BASE AL-KHRAJ
Working in the Out Side Plant, as a F.O.Installation manager on the largest Project, called PSAB LAN /
WAN PHASE II With Sitaf Saudia Co.Ltd., Whose was the major sub – contractor to ATTI ARABIA
LTD, under consultancy of BOOZ ALLEN & HAMILTON SAUDI ARABIA.
Sitaf is responsible for all kinds of civil work, cable pulling & all kinds of splicing & testing of
(Dispersion Shifted) Fiber Optical Cable for around 90 Terminations inside the Air Base. As per MODA

major sub – contractor to BTC.

the Sub – contractor of different prime contractors of Saudi Electricity Company. Sitaf is responsible for all
kinds of splicing & Testing of different type’s fiber optic. (OPGW, underground Metallic & Nonmetallic.)

SWCC (SALINE WATER CONVERSION CORPIRATION)
Working in the Out Side Plant, as a Supervisor with Sitaf Saudia Co Ltd., Where Sitaf is the Sub –
contractor of Saudi Ericsson and the Saudi Ericsson is the contractor of Saipem Snamprogetti. Sitaf is
responsible for all kinds of splicing & Testing of different type’s fiber optic. (OPGW, underground Metallic
& Nonmetallic.) As per SWCC stranded and specification.
1. SHOAIBAH Power plant to Jeddah terminal around 80 km.
2. SHOAIBAH Power plant to Taif terminal around 250 km OPGW and underground fiber optic
cable.
3. Azizah power plant to Khober terminal.
4. Azizah power plant to Dammam terminal & Ras Tanorah terminal in this project Sitaf is the Sub-
contractor of TAKFAN.
MOI PROJECT.
Working in the Out Side Plant, as a Supervisor with SITAF Saudia Co Ltd., Where SITAF is the Sub –
contractor of SEIMENS. SITAF is responsible for all kinds of civil work, cable pulling & all kinds of
splicing & Testing of fiber optic cable Pat Binders and commissioning of links.
GCC PROJECT.
Working in the Out Side Plant, as a Supervisor with SITAF Saudia Co Ltd., Where SITAF is the Sub –
contractor of LM Ericsson. SITAF is responsible for all kinds of civil work, cable pulling all over the GCC
countries & all kinds of splicing & testing of (Dispersion Shifted) Fiber Optical Cable in KSA only. As per
MODA stranded and specification.
MINISTRY OF DEFENCE MAINTINANCE PROJECT ALL OVER THE KSA
Working as FOC Manager with this maintenance project where Sitaf is responsible for cable cuts
All over the kingdom of MODA fiber optic network. For 3& half years

I also supervise the brown alert time on Hajj 2009 where I am sitting at mobily office in Riyadh. Where I
am coordinating between mobily and sitaf inspectors, there is no outage in my supervision

I am working as Project manager on SWCC Shuqaiq phase 2 water transmission system project
around 1000km in Asser region where my company is sub-contractor With Aziz PAMA my
responsibilities to supervise the laying of HDPE pipe , installation of manholes along with water pipe
line FOC blowing, splicing testing teams along with water pipeline
Coordinates with consultant ( ILF ) and client ( SWCC) for PAT & commissioning.

all kind of splicing & testing of SM & MM fiber optic cables. And also connecting more than 80 boundary
wall Cameras with MM fiber optic cable.

From 16/10/1992 to 1996 - Engineering Supervisor Optical Fiber System
 Worked as an engineering supervisor for maintenance of 565 MBIT/s Optical Link of Alcatel
between Rawalpindi and Karachi for 3 years.
 Perpetration and fitting of coaxial cable leads from 2 MBIT/s to 140 MBIT/s Optical Fiber
Equipment.
 Laying and termination of Power Cable Installation Fitting and Alignment of Optical Fiber
System and Alignment of Optical Fiber Line Equipment Rack, PCM Rack, Power Distribution
Circuits, etc.

 Responsible for and carried out the testing, stripping, cleaning, cleaving, splicing and

fiber using O.T.D.R. and installation tests of equipment.
