SAUDI RAILWAYS ORGNIZATION (SRO) 2008-NOW.

Presently, I am working at SRO as telecommunication engineer in Operation sector
under Signalling &Telecom department.
Telecom supervisor is my current responsibility within SRO. The telecom system is
made off following subsystems :
GSM-R system (Radio and Core Network).
OTN System (Fiber Optic transmission Network).
User Terminals (Cab Radio, OPH, GPH…).
Dispatcher communication System.(FDT)
SCADA (Monitoring and Alarm system).
DVSS ( Digital Video Surveillance System) for Level Crossing
Fiber Optic Cable.
Hiapth system (PABX).
Voice Recorder and Acknowledgment Centre.
I have thorough knowledge about all above technologies from technical aspect and
operation’s needs. I have been trained how to operate, maintain and administrate
the above mentioned systems.
Also, I was part of the commissioning and acceptance team in charge to follow up
the network roll out according to SRO particular needs in terms of operation and
maintenance.

Getinsa is a company that provides consultancy services to SRO for Signalling and
Telecommunication project. Within Getinsa, I was fulfilling the role of Telecom
controller. After my short but successful story with Getinsa, I was eligible and
requested to join Saudi railway to support the same project.
