Atlas Asset Management Limited-- Finance Manager (from 11/2006 – todate)
A company of Atlas Group, dealing in Mutual Funds & Pension Funds.
Duties & Responsibilities:
a. Accounting and Financial Reporting
Responsible for interim and annual financial reporting.
Review & monitoring of annual financial budget.
Responsible for external / internal audits and regulatory inspection.
Statutory reporting to Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, State Bank of Pakistan and Federal
Bureau of Statistics, from time to time.
b- Management Reporting
Review daily portfolios of investments.
Analysis of interim performance and projection for next quarter, and industry analysis.
Cash flow projection and working capital management.
Ensure internal control and implement SOPs.
Coordination with other back offices and support to front offices for financial knowledge.
Teaming, coaching and counseling of sub-ordinates.
c- Tax Management
Coordinate with tax consultant and tax authorities for tax audits/assessments/appeals etc.
Online payment of income tax and filing of monthly statement
Online payment of Sindh sales tax and filing of monthly return.
Annual income tax return and follow up in case of refunds arise.
Ensure correct application of withholding income tax and withholding SGST / FED.
d- Secretary to Management Committee (MC)
Arranging management committee meeting on monthly basis.
Record minutes of the meeting, liaison with the MC members and follow up the actions points.
2. e- Secretarial Compliance
Submission of online return of the company to Companies Registrar Office (CRO).
Assist CFO & Co. Secretary in filing requirements for appointment/change of directors, appointment of
auditors and legal advisors, filing of annual accounts and monthly / periodically SECP reporting.
Assist in arranging board meetings including preparation of board presentation.
