HOW WOULD YOU IMPORT VIDEO FOOTAGE INTO FINAL CUT EXPRESS?
Plug in the camera, load up final cut express, click on file, go down to log and
transfer and wait for the footage to appear. Click on the videos you want to import
and drag them down to the box below and the importing will begin.
HOW WOULD YOU PREVIEW A CHOSEN CLIP OF IMPORTED VIDEO?
You would go into the bin that it is in, double click on the clip when you have
found it and it should appear just right of the bin.
HOW WOULD YOU INSERT A CHOSEN CLIP INTO THE TIMELINE?
Find it in the bin that it's in, click on it and drag it onto the timeline. The video and
the audio will appear.
HOW WOULD YOU SET IN AND OUT POINTS FOR A PARTICULAR CLIP?
The clip should be in the preview, you then find a place in your clip where you want
in your timeline and click 'mark clip' at place one at the start of the clip you want
and one at the end.

WHAT IS THE BLADE TOOL USED FOR? WHAT IS ITS HOTKEY SHORTCUT?
The blade tool is used to cut clips of video and audio.
HOW WOULD YOU DELETE A CLIP & CLOSE THE GAP ON THE TIMELINE?
You delete a clip by pressing the backspace key and close the gap by
dragging all the video and audio into the free gap.
WHAT IS THE PEN TOOL USED FOR? WHAT IS ITS HOTKEY SHORTCUT?
The pen tool is used to fade in and our clips.
HOW WOULD YOU VISUALLY SHOW YOUR AUDIO IN THE TIMELINE?
Grag it into the timeline.

HOW WOULD YOU CHANGE THE SCALE OF YOUR CANVAS WINDOW TO 50%
Click the small tab at the top of the canvas window, then select 50%.
WHERE IS THE KEYFRAME ICON & WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?
The keyframe is located below the canvas, it looks like the shape of a diamond.
HOW WOULD YOU ZOOM IN CLOSER ON A PARTICULAR CLIP MANUALLY?
On the canvas select wire frame and enlarge the size to zoom in.
HOW WOULD YOU UNLINK A VIDEO CLIP & ITS AUDIO ON THE TIMELINE?
To unlink the clips from audio click the small icon that looks like a chain.
