The proposed project aims to using walls containing phase-change
materials for the following;
improving building energy performance and compare it the
conventional buildings with cement blast walls (empty or solid).
To achieve this goal, a test platform will be prepared to conduct
experiments to improve and determine the thermal properties of
the walls with PCM
Two identical rooms will be constructed, but one of them using
traditional walls and other one using PCM walls with the
installation of an air conditioner in each room.
Experiments will be conducted to collect the measured data and
then carry out the necessary analysis to reach a conclusion and the
objective of the implementation of this project.
