2. Basically, it entails breaking down complex objects
into lower detailed images made up of triangles
arranged into polygons. This style of art is especially
fascinating to me because of my interest in video
games. Once video game graphics made the leap
from 2D to 3D, polygons became an integral part
of video game animation. The higher the polygon
count, the better the graphical resolution.

3. This logo was created for an upcoming Baker College affiliate business known as CAT2
. This
organization will serve to supply people with the means to gain quick certifications and training
in a variety of fields.
This project was given to four people, including myself, to create logo concepts. The client liked
aspects from both my design and one of my classmates. We then worked together to take the
best parts of our logos and create a better one.

4. These design pieces are a great way to turn
boring data into visually pleasing graphics. This
was a design that I used in a coffee brochure.
All elements were drawn by me in Illustrator.

5. I have recently had the privilege of having an internship at a local screen printing and embroidery
shop in Cadillac. They tasked me with creating sales flyers, website banners, and custom T-shirts.
These are just a few of the many designs that I created.

6. In this piece, I took three different images and mashed them together in
photoshop. This design was for a project in one of my classes. I used the

7. Although there are many different aspects of Digital Media Design, I spend most of my time
creating logos. This is the aspect of the field I enjoy the most. I especially like the challenge of
designing a logo that is simple, relays the message of the company, and works well in single and
multiple colors. Creating well rounded logos helps make them recognizable and timeless.

Born and raised in Lake City, Michigan. I will be
the first person in my immediate family to go
to college and graduate. I have been tinkering
with computers and computer software since I
was four years old, so it was only natural for me
to choose a career in computer science.
On top of graduating from college, I just
became a licensed Pharmacy Technician. For
now, I plan to use my education in Digital
Media Design to start my own freelance
company and supplement my income. My
greatest career goal is to get hired by a large
company like Blizzard Entertainment to work
on movies and video games.
