Programmer II
My primary responsibilities include maintaining and writing new Cerner CCL programs
for Lab, HIM, Registration & Scheduling, Respiratory Therapy, Nursing, Access
Management, Central Supply and Surgery. I also work setting up and maintaining
operational jobs. I create and maintain extracts as needed for our 3rd party providers
and work with the MoveIt team to coordinate testing and make sure that the files are

2002 to 2009 CEVA Logistics (formerly Eagle Global Logistics)
Senior Software Engineer
Worked with Microsoft VFP 6.0, Microsoft VFP 8.0, Windows SharePoint Services, SQL
Server and PLSQL. Responsible for the maintenance of shuttles which move data from
AS400 to SQL databases. Responsible for DTS packages that move data from staging
tables to presentation tables. Created stored procedures (using PLSQL) to support a
new system that my team was building. Additionally, was SharePoint administrator
over intranets used for teams in the organization as well as extranets that are accessed
by CEVA’s customers. Other responsibilities included supporting end users, trouble
shooting miscellaneous items concerning data, maintaining stored procedures and

3. 1998 to 1999 Eagle Global Logistics (formerly Eagle Airfreight)
Senior Programmer/Analyst
Created a system, Eagle Advisor using Visual FoxPro 6.0 and Web Connection to access
the Internet and use Eagle’s server (running SQL Server) to pull information and
provide it to the user via the Internet. I was the original programmer on the
application, developing it from the ground up. Eagle Advisor won a 1999 Microsoft
Visual FoxPro Excellence Award.
1997 to 1998 EqualNet
Senior Programmer/Manager
Visual FoxPro, SQL Server, and Visual Basic programming. Created support
applications in VFP 5.0 for in-house users. Took on a leadership role early in my career
at EqualNet. Played a key role in converting from a VFP billing system to one written
in Visual Basic, including converting data from VFP and SQL Server to VB. Was
promoted to manager during this conversion.
1990 to 1997 Living Centers of America
Senior Programmer
Senior Programmer over Medicare and Medicaid programs. In charge of writing
specifications, modifying programs to meet the needs of user and specifications of
federal and state laws governing these programs. Worked with users to determine
their needs and customize programs to improve efficiency. Worked with
intermediaries to create and test electronic files containing information needed for
Medicare and Medicaid payments. Heavy use of strong interpersonal skills. All original
programming was done in FoxBase and DOS. I designed, wrote specifications and was
the senior programmer over a team implementing modifications to convert from Fox
2.6 to VFP 3.0.
