Our target audience is both female and
male and aged between 18 and 30.
They are Fun, clever and sophisticated,
our target audience are bored of all the
same horror films and they are looking
for something more sophisticated and
to their style.
Since our target want a horror movie
more sophisticated our horror movie
will appeal to their needs and they will
be tempted to come and watch our
possession horror movie.

The sub genre we have chosen is Possession because we
believe that it is the most interesting genre to create a film
in. There are many conventions to follow and challenge and
there are also many different narrative possibilities. Since
Possession films are becoming increasingly relevant in today's
society, it would make sense to create a film that will appeal
to a wide range of audiences that like to watch the latest
Possession films such as Insidious 2 and The Possession.
Since the sub-genre is one of the more sophisticated Horror
sub-genres, we can target a sophisticated audience that
understands the many codes and conventions of the genre.

Nicholas and Amelia the parents of Isaac live together in the suburbs. The
family spend most of their time together when Nicholas isn’t at work. One day
Nicholas’ sister Nicole comes to visit the family and she brings a box full of
Nicholas’ old stuff from when he was younger from their parent’s house. Within
the box of stuff Nicholas finds his old Jack in the box which brings back bad
memories. This jack in the box was once evil and took over Nicholas’ life when
he was a young boy. Nicholas goes out into the woods and buries the Jack in
the box hoping to never see it again. The Jack in the box comes back to the
house in the middle of the night and the son Isaac hears the music which is
coming from the box and goes to gets the box and plays with it. Isaac starts
acting weird and Nicholas releases there is something wrong with him. He tells
his wife that he believes that the box may have taken over Isaac and then tells
her what happened to him when he was a child.
