often see images of artist on a blank background.
This shows the contrast between the artist and
background, it also shows the main focus is always
on the artist. The blank background also shows the
artist is high status and doesn’t need a background
to make them anymore higher then they already
are. The image is focused on their pose more then
the location, their pose shows their power, status
and could also show their flirty side.

5. It is also common to see images of artists on
stage, mid performance, or at a recording
studio, laying down a track or preparing to
do so. Within these images, we see the flashy
outfits and revealing outfits and they are
also posing in a dance move. This establishes
the artists as performers, presenting them in
their natural habitat. The use of location is to
create the artist as great and heightening the
audience to desire them more and to be like
them to perform themselves. These images
are taken mid-shot to create the feeling to
the audience as if they are there with the
artist and they are sharing the moment with
them.
