16. 行きます・来ます
• When the verb 行く and 来る are combined
with other verb, these verbs mean a
process of the action.
• Verb stem + に 行く – go and do something
• て-form + 来る – go and do something,
then come back again
18. 行って来ます
行って来ます is also used when you go somewhere
and then come back.
出かけて来ます is used often when you don’t
specify where you are going or not specifying what
you do.
ちょっとそこまで出かけてきます。
