1. Title of position: Regional Application Manager LGT (my SAP CRM)
Ultimate purpose:
To manage the daily operations regarding the application. The application manager is organizing
training, user support,
initiates changes and development. The application manager has a regional position supported by
local Power users.
The application manager is the first point of contact for the local Power user having a problem,
change request or needing
normal assistance with the application. Any issue not solved by the local Power user should be
described in a form and
forwarded to the application manager. Direct support to End Users can occur but should be avoided if
possible.
The application manager is a person from business with IT skills. Depending of the amount of end
users on the area, there
can be super users per functional module (Customer service, Sales, Marketing).
Main accountabilities:
Application manager:
• Minor configuration and structure settings in the
application
• Organize user support connected to the system
• Initiate changes, improvements and handle
prioritization
• Coordinate system testing
• Coordinate user training
• Leading of the Power user group and the user group
• Maintain process documentation
• End user support in specific business processes
• Solve application related problems
• Report application errors to 2nd line support
• Test and verify changes before released to the
production environment
• Training of end users
• Report application usage/achievements every month
to manager
People development accountabilities:
Secure skills in the CRM tool in the Marketing, Sales and CRC
departments.
Responsibilities:
• Contact to external IT support
• Contact to Linde IT departments (regional and
global)
• Implementation of new CRM tool functionality
• Bridging the CRM concept to the CRM tool
• Securing the Regional platform in the CRM
tool
• To manage Information Security on operational
level
• To secure that the end users receive necessary
and right information regarding IT
• Responsible for the competence development
of the local super users.
• Approved technical test of new system
functionalities.
• Accept test results
