SECURITY MANAGER: Review security clearance documents and related material for information
adversely reflecting on the individual's loyalty or character. Compile necessary administrative and
adjudicative actions and making recommendations of final security clearance eligibility
determinations. Review security related information and determining whether or not an individual is
eligible for access to DoD controlled facilities and information systems. Recommend denial or
revocation of clearance, denial of assignment to, or retention in, sensitive positions; removal,
discharge, or non-acceptance for employment, and induction or commissioning. Ensure case files
are complete and accurate.
PHYSICAL SECURITY: Plan, coordinate, and support company operations through analysis,
production, collections, and disseminate to all Divisions and individuals who need information in
order to complete respective missions and tasks. Ensure the company complies with policies and
regulations regarding physical and information security for classified material. Maintain extensive
knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) policies and procedures on Information and Personnel
Security, Industrial Security and Physical Security Access Control. Develop and implement security
systems and programs pertaining to Personnel Security, Sensitive Compartment Information (SCI)
and Special Access Programs (SAP). Apply agency and organizational regulations regarding the
type of personal security check required (i.e. National agency check, special background
investigation, etc.) and request an investigation from the appropriate organization.
OPERATIONS: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Personnel, Information, and Physical
Security Programs and advise the Security Manager on DoD security policy. Plan and conduct
active-shooter training exercise that involved 25 companies and 4 local law enforcement agencies.
Perform anti-terrorism force protection threat vulnerability assessments and maintain liaison with
government and private agencies concerning local threats. Coordinate anti-terrorism plans and
security matters. Produce all-source Intelligence analysis that resulted in the production of
unclassified and classified Intelligence briefs. Complete requests for information (RFI) and conduct
Commanding Officer Intelligence briefs for company staff in order to maintain situational awareness

assigned geographic functional areas. Researched, analyzed and integrated data from multiple
sources to prepare newor revise old finished Intelligence products. Tailored production to support
low intensity conflict and unconventional warfare scenarios such as evasion and recovery,
evacuation, humanitarian relief, force protection and special operations. Evaluated and rated 500
Intelligence Information Reports (IIR) in support HUMINT/DRI-8 collection that increased the

the cornerstone of the Libya Crisis Management Element daily Lines of Operations briefing, CJCS-

INTERPERSONAL: Provided technical expertise to the President of the United States, Secretary of
