By partnering with CAS, the United States Government can receive small business credit with the support of a
large business infrastructure from a “Trusted Advisor” that has the current and past performance on relevant
contracts that mitigates contract risk. Our IT current and past performance includes:
For a Navy customer, Chenega Applied Solutions provides help desk support, providing 1,500 users with
24/7/365 on-call support in Kings Bay, GA. Our SECRET and TOP SECRET cleared staff support 37
Windows Server 2008 R2 servers, and 550 Windows 7 workstations and are Microsoft Certified IT Professionals
(MCITP). Information assurance staff, developers, and engineers are CompTia Security + certified and hold
Cyber Security Workforce certifications. Our help desk staff support connectivity troubleshooting and is
responsible for supporting wireless and wired network components used to access SIPRNET and NIPRNET.
We setup, schedule, coordinate, configure, and troubleshoot videoteleconference point-to-point or multi-point
sessions. CAS security staff supported our customer’s Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation
Process and ensure that automated processes are leveraged to apply Information Assurance Vulnerability patches
and laptop security administration. In 2015, the CAS team led a printer refresh effort to configure Multi Function
Printers to operate after users scan their Common Access Cards (CAC) for print and scan functions. The
Chenega Applied Solutions help desk team aims to prevent user errors by offering desktop training to new system
users. Our team also publishes a monthly newsletter offering tips for maximizing performance of customer
systems.
For the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Chenega Applied Solutions supports the National
Emergency Training Center (NETC) in Emmitsburg, MD. We provide 24/7 IT support including systems design
and development, system integration, system installations, training, documentation, maintenance, data collection
and maintenance, project management, coordination and reporting, and audio/visual support. We support
classroom equipment and emergency simulator equipment and events. CAS maintains the operational inventory
of classroom equipment including computer equipment and peripherals and software including ArcGIS, HAZUS,
NFIRS, COBRA, Aloha, and ICE. We provide training to incoming instructors in using classroom computer and
audiovisual equipment. To support the students at the NETC, Chenega Applied Solutions operates a help desk to
install, upgrade, and maintain new and existing personal computers, networks, monitor switches, servers, and
peripherals for Microsoft Windows 2003/2012 servers and Windows 7 workstations and laptops for recovery,
backups, and print server operations. CAS also installs and configures Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS)
applications.
